A TEMPLE OF AGRICULTURE

It is proposed to erect a “World’s Temple of Agriculture,” to be the largest building in the world. It will include a radio broadcasting tower, which will rival the Eiffel Tower; a 'convention hall to seat 20,000, and a com'mercial hotel of 3500 rooms. The whole coat will be 30,000,000 dollars, j The work is planned by a mid-western group, to be known as the American Agricultural Society. The building is , to be the centre of the farm activities of the United States. ! Financially the project is said to be assured. The building, as planned, will front upon Michigan boulevard, at its junction with Chicago river, with passenger and freight docks, warehouse facilities, and a suburban train station stop. The plan is to complete the structure in 1927.
