Four teams represented tho association during the 1923-24 season, viz., third A, fourth, and two boys* teams. * This season, a fairly lean one on the whole as far as we are concerned, was the first for many yoars during which the association'll first eleven was not competing in the junior grade. A, strenuous journey and hard games were beginning to tell on the members, and they were defeated by an older and much more experienced team, Harbour Board, who eventually won the competition. The next success was attained in having the honour to win the Charity Cup, the first senior cup for the association.* * Tho following players gained representative honours during the season:—Senior —New Zealand: M.
