RIOTING AT LUCKNOW

RELIGIOUS STRIFE AGAIN. TROOPS CALLED OUT. Reuter’s Telegram. DELHI, September 14. The strained relations between Hindus and Mohammendans are a serious menace to the present-day peace of India. Within the past few weeks serious riots, arising out of religious troubles, have occurred in Delhi, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Poona, and Kohat,_ Lucknow is now the danger zone. As the result of a rumour that a Eraihmin boy had been forcibly converted to Islam, rioting occurred there on Friday night, and still continues. As in the other places, troops have been called out.
