WILL IT BE CONTINUED? LOSS TO BE BORNE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, September 11. Negotiations have been progressing for some weeks between the Wembley exhibition authroities and the Australian Commission for a continuance of the Exhibition in 1926. It is understood that the authorities are prepared to hear a substantial proportion of any loss incurred. Australia expects that Australia s net expenditure will not exceed £30,000, .which may possibly be recouped by means of pavilion trading. A DEFINITE PROPOSAL. Australian nm* N.Z. It is understood that the Exhibition Commission, recommended than YVe-m----bloy be continued during 1925, provided the Imperial authorities contribute 50 per cent, of the Australian expenses The revised estimate of expenditure fixed it at £90,000, of which £IO,OOO will he devoted: to advertising.
