The Wellington Carnival Week Entertainment Committee opened the week’s round of entertainments with a jazz dance in tho Town Hall last night. Although not so crowded as these popular dances hav)s been on former occasions there were a good number present, and all thoroutrhly en joyed themsolves. Refreshments ' were served as usual under the eallerv, and were much appreciated. Mr Smvtb v-as onco again M.Ol, and Mr Jones chairman, and other members of the committoe were present.
