THEIR PART IN STRENUOUS ATHLETICS. MEDICAL OPINION TO BE SOUGHT. The question of women's participation in athletics was mentioned at tho council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association last night, and it was decided to ask for the opinion of the Wellington branch of the British Medical Association to place before the annual meeting of the association. Opinions expressed by members were against women taking part in strenuous athletics.
