WAITERS BAFFLED
LIGHTNING STRIKE FAILS. MANY COOKS AVAILABLE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 23, 11.35 p.m.) PRAGUE, March 23. A lightning strike of waiters failed to achieve its object to prevent a banquet given by the Restaurant and Cafe Proprietors’ Association. The waiters downed their dishes and picketed the hall, but the proprietors cooked their own dinner, and voted the banquet a complete success.
