LADIES AT CRICKET
“SALLY” V. WELLINGTON. A representative team of Wellington lady cricketers has been selected to accept a challenge issued by Miss Josie Melville, on behalf of the ladies of tike “Sally” company. The match will take tlace on Tuesday afternoon, on the [elburo oval, commencing at 1.45 p.ja. The Wellington team will be captained by Miss Joe Marchbanks, and will include Mrs'Ashford, winner of the Pageant Queen competition and Miss Isobel Wilford. The team will be: —Mrs J. Crawford, Mrs Ashford. Mjsses Hilda Miles, Isobel Wilford, Helen Whyte, Margaret Whyte, Marion Findlay, Lulu Morice, Marjorie Morice, Betty Hislop, Alys Duncan, and Miss Joe Marchbanks (captain). The “Sally” team will be selected to-day from the following:—Misses Josie Melville (captain), Thelma Rprness, Pixie Herbert, Aileen ' Barton, Eileen Ogden Myrtle Greenhill, Adelo Crane, Rita Lloyd, Laura McLaino, Meadow Peel, Queenie Moriarty, Marjorie Edwards, Bertha Newton, Rosie Stanhope, Rita Penington and Connie Hobbs.
