CAR FATALITY

YOUNG MAN KILLED. SECOND INJURED AT RACES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 23. At the Auckland Automobile Association’s races at Muriwai beach the races were marred by an unfortunate accident, when a car was unable to make a turn and dashed into spectators who encroached upon the course. The car struck Eric Holiday, of Epsom, a married man, who was severely injured. Another accident occurred, presumably on the return trip from the races, when a car capsized, Seymour Gordon, a single man, aged 23 years, being fatally injured. He died in hospital. No particulars are available.
