Messages from Mobile (Alabama) state that the steamer Ellis brought the first details of a revolution, in Honduras, after having had a sensational escape from rebels. More than 200 persons have been slain, an<i all the ports and most important cities are in the hands of the rebels. Tegucigalpa, the capital city, has been partially destroyed by fire as a result of the fighting. Refugees, including many Federal officers, have fled to Porto Barrios, in Guatemala. Th® Ellis is under Honduran registry. Ships, which are under foreign flags bo far, have been immune.
