TO REVEAL FRAUDS
VANDEBUP’S RESOLUTION. LIFE INSURED FIRST. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association WASHINGTON, March 20. Mr Frank Vanderlip, the noted-finan-cier, who was formerly president of the National City Bank, suspecting that many aspects of the national scandal are being suppressed for the sake of political expediency, has organised a so-called Federal Research Bureau, to investigate the oonduct of Federal departments and publish the findings or refer them to tho proper investigating committee. Mr Vanderlip, conscious of the enmity which his venture will probably rouse, has taken a million-dollar personal accident insurance. Mr Vandorlip was at one time financial editor of the “Chicago Tribune,” and associate editor of the Chicago “Economist.” Ho is at present one of tho trustees of the Carnegie Foundation. Ho has written many papers on important financial and economio subgets, and is the author of “What appened to Europe,” "Businees and Education,” “The American Commercial Invasion of Europe,” and other works on like subjects.
