Tho second and third rounds in ihe Wellington Centre’s champion of champions rinks competition were played in fine weather on the Victoria and Thorndon greens yesterday. The first round — a single game to play off two byes—was played about a fortnight ago. SECOND ROUND. Tho following were the results of the socond round; tho first four games mentioned being played on the Victoria green and the other four at Thorndoin: — Eastbourne (Nimmo, Woolley, Norris, and Lock) beat. Hutt (Campbell, Yates, Kennington, and Dempsy) by 26 to 12. Central, Petone (Foster, Fisher, Senior and Beynon) beat Lyall Bay (Paten. Brown, Brighting, and Dustin) by 21 to 13. Kelburn (Smith, Nicholls, Doherty, and Routley) heat Wellington (Jessop, McArthur, J. J. Roberts, and Duncan) by Newtown (Davis, Leahy, Pollock, and Wylio) beat Thorndon (Hardy, Johnson, White, and Hart) by 18 to 15. Hataitai (Moolller, Commetti, Halliday, and Ridell) beat Karori (Laird, Helmsley, Fulton, and Cooper) by lb to 14. ' Uppor Hutt (Gregg. The results of the third round—first two games played at Victoria, and the other two at Thorndon—were as under Central beat Eastbourne by 23 to 18. Kelburn beat Newtown by 20 to In. Hataitai beat Upper Hutt by 19 to 16. Island Bay beat Petone by 21 to 15. Mr Inness acted as umpire on the Victoria green, and Mr W. E. Spencer on the Thorndon green. The semi-finals will be played on tbs Victoria green this morning, commencing at 10 a.m.; and the final will take place on tho same green this afternoon, plaj beginning at 2 p.m. PAST v. PRESENT.
