UNIMPROVED VALUE
NEW RATING APPROVED. TAURANGA SCHEME. Per Press Association. TAURANGA, March 7. Considerable interest was taken today in the poll; for the adoption of the rating of unimproved value, which resulted in 295 votes being cast in favour of the scheme and 282 against. Informal votes numbered 4. The proposal thus was carried by 13 votes. A poll was taken in October, 1920, when the proposal was rejected by 148 votes.
