AFTER THE CONFERENCE
DOCTORS GO SIGHT SEEING. ARRIVAL AT ROTORUA. PSr Press Association. Rotorua, March, 7. On Thursday night 150 visitors from the medical conference, doctors and ladies, arrived at Rotorua by a special train. They inspected the baths, and saw the sights" this morning, and were entertained by the Tourist Department at a garden party in the Government garehs this afternoon, when, the Mayor (Mr E. Clihkard) officially welcomed them oil behalf of the citizens, Dr Robertson responding. Dr Buck, on behalf of the surgical section of the conference presented Maori weapons to the American doctors Mayo, Ffanklyn, Martin, and Smith. Drs" HaTdie and Neil presented similar weapons to the Americans, Dr Emerson and Dr Hubbard, The weather was fine except for a sharp shower about three o’clock. Tonight the visitors went to a Maori entertainment at Ohinemutu, followed by a small dance.
