CALCUTTA STRIKE
MANY OPERATIVES IDLE. Reuter’s Telegram. BOMBAY, January 28. Thirty-tivo mills out of eignty-five are on strike, and sixty thousand operatives are idle. The etrike was caused through the non-payment of the customary bonus. It is expected that all mills will he idle by January 29th (yesterday).
