WRESTLING CONTEST
NORTH ISLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. Per Press Association . TAIHAPE, January 24. The North Island catch-as-catch-can wrestling championship was contested at the Tainapo Caledonian sports to-day and was won by Iko Robin, of Napier, who defeated Brown, of Auckland, in the final bout. Brown sustained two broken ribs and could not meet Anderson, of Palmerston North, anl tho latter agreed to divide second money. Mr J. B. Ferguson, Palmerston North, was tho judge.
