PRIME MINISTER
ARRIYCES AT AUCKLAND TO-DAY. DUE WELLINGTON SATURDAY. The Prime Minister (the Right Hon. W. F. Massey) is due to arrive by the Makura at Auckland to-day. Yesterday Sir Fiancis Bell (acting-Prime Minister), the Hon. C. J. Parr (Minister for Justice and Education), the Hon. R. F. Bollard (Minister for Internal Affairs), and Sir Maui Pomare (Minister for Health), left YVellington for Auckland to meet Mr Massey. It is anticipated that the Hon. J. G. Coates (Minister for Railways and Public Works) will join his colleagues at Auckland, and that the Ministerial Party, including the Prime Minister, will arrive in YVellington by the Main Trunk express at midday on Saturday. The Ministers left in Wellington are Sir R. Heaton Rhodes (Minister for Defence), the Hon. V'. Nosworthy (Minister for Agriculture), and the Hbn. D. H. Guthrie (Minister for Lands). The Hon. G. J. Anderson (Minister for Labour, Mines, and Marine), who is due back m YVellington to-morrow, is at present visiting the Bast Coast, and the Minister for Customs (the Hon. W. Downie Stewart) is at Dunedin. MR MASSEY’S WELCOME HOME SPEECHES TO BE BROADCASTED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 23. Arrangements are being made to broadcast the speeches at the civic welcome to the Rt. Hon. YY T . F. Massey at the Town Hall to-morrow night. A set of microphones on the platform will connect with tho broadcasting station.
