The “Morning Post” correspondent in Paris states that consequent upon the increasing outcry against the high cost of living the Goveniroent has decided to create a special body under jVI. Rimibert, director of supplies at the War Office, who is essentially a man of action, and who is hailed as a dictator charged with the suppression of profiteering. M. Rinibert declares! “I shall seek to restrict the private advantages, often excessive, of certain producers and dealers I shall begin with, bread and when wheat prices are stabilised [ shall investigate other necessaries. Before trying to reduce price® I propose ending their continued rise. The speculation in flour has become frenzied.”
