TUNNEL FATALITY

INQUEST ON THE VICTIMS. Per Press Association. NAiPIER, December 17. The inquest on Timothy O’Mahoney and John Robert Hohensee, victims of the Kaiwaka tunnel accident on November 36th was held to-day. The evidence did not reveal anything to suggest a lack of the usual precautions, and indicated that the fall occurred suddenly and without- the slightest warning. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
