EUROPEAN HATREDS

TRANSFERRED TO AMERICA SPANISH' CONSULATE BOMBED BY ANTI-FASCISTS. CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE. B 7 Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. AustrnnaD and N.Z. Oar>ta Awooifttinn. (Received November 26 0.10 a.m.) NEW YORK, November 24. Tho “New York Times” correspondent in Philadelphia says a national search, in which the Federal Department of Justice is participating, is being conducted for six young Spaniards, believed to be representatives of an anti-Fasoisti organisation, who bombed the Italian and Spanish consulates in Philadelphia, slightly injuring nearly 40 persons, and doing considerable damage to property. The bombing is believed to be a protest against- the recent Fascist agreement between Signor Mussolini and General Riviera. The Spanish Consul, who narrowly escaped death, stated that he had been visited during the previous day by nearly a score _ of unemployed Spaniards, whose actions he considered suspicious. He gave them each a dollar, and asked them to return next day. Spectators declare they saw seveTal persons who were speaking Spanish skulking about the Consulate before the explosion. Guards have been stationed rib the Italian and Spanish consulates in other American cities, to prevent further outrages.
