PRICE OF SUGAR. RISE OF 30s PER TON. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 25. An increase of £1 10s per ton in the wholesale price of sugar is announced by the Colonial Sugar Refining Company. The increase, which operates from tomorrow, applies to all grades of raw and refined sugar. It is also announced that the price of taiblet sugar, both in hulk and cartons, was increased in Sydney by £1 10s per ton from last Thursday.
