CHRISTIAN HEALING

THANKSGIVING SERVICES ON TUESDAY NEXT. All the arrangements have hern ctra fully ’ made for the Thanksgiving Services for the Christian Healing Mission, which lecently took place in this city under Mr J. M. Hickson. The services will be held next Tuesday. The Anglioan churches are having early celebrations of the Holy Communion in the morning. There will be a great service of thanksgiving in the choral celebration of the Holy Communion in St. Paul’s Pro-Oathedral at 10.30 a.in. .The Bishop will be the celebrant, and the preacher will he the Rev. W. Fanoent, secretary of the mission. In the evening a great united service will be held in the Town Hall, at 8 p.m., the doors open at 7 p.m. There will be two addresses, one by the Bishop of Wellington, the other by the Rev. J. Reed Glasaon, minister of Hie Terrace Congregational Church, who will be assisted in the service by the Rev. W. Shirer, of St. James’s Presbyterian Church', and the Rev. E. Drake, of Trinity Methodist Church. The musical arrangements of the services are in the charge of Mr Robert Parker, and the organists will be Mr Wenzel H. Collie and Mr S. M. Shortt. The collections will he devoted to the local expernes of the mission. Those who have physically or spiritually benefited through the mission are asked to send in their petitions for the thanksgivings, to the secretary.
