MINING DISPUTE
NO AGREEMENT REACHED.

WESTPORT, October 31.
The special committee set up to try and find a way out of the mining crisis sat from 10.30 a.m. teday until a late hour to-night, without reaching anything satisfactory to both parties to the dispute. The citizens’ committee will meat again in the morning to further consider the situation.
