IN QUEST OF A LOAN
STINNES’S AGENTS IN LONDON. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received October. 12, 10 p.m.) LONDON, October 12. The “Daily Express” states that representatives lof Herr Stinnes have been working at fever heat at a West End hotel, endeavouring to arrange a loan of £6,000,000 in London, offering as security foreign currencies stored outside Germany. The purpose of the loan is the establishment of credits to purchase British coal for the ur/occupied' territory.
