REGULATIONS GAZETTED. ETHNOLOGICAL RESEARCH BOARD. In pursuance of section 9 of the Native Washing-up Bill of last session, regulations were gazetted yesterday for the constitution of the Board of Maori Ethnological Research. "Hie board shall consist of the following members:—The Native Minister, who shall be chairman; the Under-secretary of Native Affairs, who shall be deputychairman ; the Under-Secretary of Internal Affairs; the members of the House of Representatives for the time being representing the Maori race; such other persons as may from time to time be appointed in that behalf by the Native Minister.
