ACCOUNTANT’S LAPSE
CHARGE OF FORGERY. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND October 11. Edward Bourne, aged 40, accountant, was committed for sentence today on three charges of forging and littering cheques for £222 18s lOd in the naan-; of his employer, John Buchanan, bookseller. Accused stated that he had got behind in payments on his house and took the money to enable him keep up the payments.
