The “Daily Mail” announces that the Duke of York will be appointed to a Dominion Governor-Generalship. Prince Albert, Duke of York, the second son of the King and Queen, 1 is in his twonty-eighth year. He is to be married to Lady Elisabeth BowesLyon at Westminster Abbey on April 26th. The possibility of one or more of the King’s sons being appointed to Governor-Generalships was mentioned in England earlier this year, when it was stated that the Duke of. York would be the next Governor-General of South Africa, in succession to Prince Arthur of Connaught.
