Macaulay took four wickets for 30 and Fender four for 60. Marylebone in the second innings lost cne wicket for 142 (Russell 56, Sandham 60 not out). Stumps were drawn The weather was fine and the wicket good. Except Catterall, the Transvaalers made a poor showing against good bowling and fielding, Macauley's leg theory proving most effective.
