OLD MAN’S END

FOUND DEAD ON SEAT. Alfred Johnston was the name of an elderly man who was found dead, strotcfied upon a seat on the Oriental Bay Parade on Monday night. The deceased man resided in Hawkestone street, and was reported as missing on Mondav. He was reported to be in a depressed state recently, and was troubled by a bad leg. Sixty-four years of age, he came to New Zealand from England about a decade ago, and it is believed that he has no relatives in the Dominion. An inquest is to he held.
