The newspapers publish a Berlin dispatch stating that Germany intends to address the signatories of the Versailles Treaty, drawing attention to the fact that the French army of occupation has crossed the neutral zone of 50 kilometres provided by the treaty, and is in close proximity to the German garrison of Munster. MUNSTER EVACUATED. The “Echo de Paris’s” Mayence correspondent states that the detachment of the Reioilswehr which garrisoned Munster left the town and hurriedly removed all headquarters records, fearing the arrival of the Franco-Belgian troops. The “Petit Parisien’s” Dueseldorf correspondent Says that among the sanctions to be imposed will be the imprisonment of delinquents. The French, Italian, and Belgian Governments have ordered the exploitation of the State forests on the left bank of the Rhine as a penalty for Germany’s default in the delivery of wood.
