SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY

The home touch wae much to the fore in Mrs J. Paterson’s concert to seafarers at the Sailors’ Friend Sooiety on Thursday when merry music filled the bill. The performers were: M-esdamcs Dempster, Edwards, Patarson, and McLennan, Missea Hannah, M. Windors, Pasisau, Woodward, McGregor, Rabe, and Messrs East, Jenkins. Mesdames Dempster, Miss Henderson, and Mr Birks were at the piano. , The competitions went with a owing, the prizes came from well-wishers of the work, and went to the Port Hunter-, Canadian Pioneer, Bembridge, etc. Mr Moore, missioner, announced that matters were well in hand for a successful picnic son Anniversary Day.
