UNITED STATES PROPOSAL. IMMIGRATION OF 100,000. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association WASHINGTON, January 9. Senator J. 8. Williams has introduced a hill authorising the immigration of 100,000 Armenian refugees, of whom 26 per cent, would be minors, into the United States.

Under a bond the adults would he compelled to take work on land, while the minors would be under the care of orphan asylums.
