ANOTHER MIGHTY SWEEP. SUPERFLUOUS OFFICERS “SACKED.” Australian and N.Z Cable Association. (Received January 3, 8.5 p.m.) ■ ROME, January 2. Signor Mussolini, in carrying out his reform programme, intensively swept away twenty-one hoards and commissions in connection with the Ministry of Agriculture, comprising 332 officials, and also dismissed one thousand army officers, _ abolished twenty educational boards with a large number of superfluous officers, suppressed the National Unemployment Board and Labour Insurance Board, which has affected an annual saving of several milliards of lire.
