MURDER CHARGE

Sylvester O’Reilly has been committed for trial on a charge of murdering Charles MaoLennan. The police gave evidence that O’Reilly was in the company of MacLennan on the day of the tragedy, and the bottle found near the body bore his finger-prints The dead body o’ MacLennan, an inmate of a Red Cross Home, was found, partly clothed, in Centennial Park, on October 4th'. The skull bore marks of violence, and a bloodstained bottl£ was found close by.
