PRIME MINISTER’S TRIP
‘VERY SATISFACTORY TOUR' “I WAS HEARTILY WELCOMED EVERY WHERE. ” SOUTH ISLAND MAY FOLLOW. The Prime Minister returned to Wellington yesterday. Interviewed by a “Times” representative, Air Massey stated that ne had visited Auckland and his own constituency, also Taranaki; and on Saturday afternoon ho spoke at Eketahuna and on Saturday night at Masterton. “It was,” he said, “a very satisfactory trip Everywhere I got the very heartiest of receptions. In fact, I could not possibly wish for anything better than the welcomes everywhere given to me. I have got to go north again almost immediately. ' I have several meetings to address, one in my own constituency. I have po end of invitations, far more than I can possibly accept. “Later on, all being well, I shall pay a flying visit to various parts of the South Island; but no definite arrangements have been made in regard to it yet.”
