OLD 'CLOTHES AND FOOD. An advertisement appears elsewhere in connection with the Armenial Relief Appeal, so eloquently expressed recently by Dr. Wirt, the United States Commissioner for (he Near East relief. At the prbsent time it fa proposed to make an appeal throughout New Zealand for old clothes, clean flour bags and tinned food. Money, of course, fa aJso acceptable, but will be spout in the Purchase of goods and clothing. . Australia has deoided to 6end a rglief ship, and it is hoped that a substantial shipment will be sent from here, to -be placed aboard the Australian expedition. An appeal is therefore now being fashed for goods and tinned food to be sent to St. Andrew's Hall, Wellington terrace. Messrs Wright. Stephenson tod Co. have very kindly given thb use of part of theft store, and the goods will be stored there ■ until they leave-New Zealand- The plight of 800,000 starving, half-naked children, cannot fail-To appeal to the many friends of the children,.' Money may be sent to Mr R. W. Porter, Dominion treasurer, Box 65, city, or to the chairman, the Mayor of Wellington.
