REWARDING EX-SERVICE MEN. RUSSIA, PRESIDENT’S ’VETO PROBABLE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. ((Received September 1, 10.45 p.m.) WASHINGTON, August 31. The Senate passed the Soldiers’ Bonus Bill, appropriating 4,000,000,000 for ex-service men’s cash rewards. The House of Representatives has already passed the measure. President Harding repeatedly made the statement that he will veto the measure Unless it carries with it provisions to raise the revenue needed, whidh tile Bill does not do.
