Telegraphic communication with Cork is interrupted. Late reports yesterday stated that heavy firing was heard in the suburbs. THE DAIL EIREANN LABOUR PARTY WITHDRAWS THREAT. (Received September 1, 9.55 p.m.) LONDON, August 31. In view of Mr Oosgrave’s definite assurance that the Dail Eirann will meet on September 9th, the Labour party has withdrawn its throat to resign.
