“Having spent six months in New Zealand, I have a great affotoion for your country,” remarked Professor W l . T. Goode, during his lecture ait the Auckland Town Hall. “Some of the impressions I have gained here are very good ones, others are net. I intend to let them simmer in my mind, and later, perhaps, will commit them to paper. You have things hero which are unique, hut which tne Government does not make known. Thslfc rhould not be. ' Many things I have seen in the Dominion should be ‘boosted’ across the world. This country should be the playground of the world. In England they do not know enough about you—about your possibilities, your hopes, and your nchivementa. Indeed, some people over there seem to (think that New Zealand is a suburb of Sydney.”
