LEAGUE FOOTBALL

SYDENHAM v. TOWN. To-day, at Newtown Park, Sydenham, Christchurch, winners of the Canterbury championship, will play a combined town team, as originally chosen to plaj country on the same day. The match should he a very good exposition of the League code, as the Sydenham team are a very sound combination, and an interesting game should eventuate between these two teams. South v. Central Juniors will play a curtain-raise* to the above match.
