fiven a bonny time at' the Sailors' 'riend, Society on Thursday by their -hostess, Mrs L. Maysmore, who provided a programme of popular items for her guests. The performers were the Mesdamea Sewell and Hayemore, the Misses Ginger and Archer, and Messrs Collins, Sewell, Allen Fuller, Burton Ginger, Howard, Nairn, and Donelly. Mrs A. H. Sewell was at the piano. Mr Howard did some splendid ventriloquial work. The competitions were a wonderful success, the prizes coming from the hostess and Messrs Nairn and Sowell, and went to the Maindy Lodge and other shiPß.
