TOWN HALL CLOCK

CITY COUNCIL DECISION. A move is about to be made by tbs City Council for the installation of a clock in the Town Hall tower. The late Mr John Blundell left in his will -£SOO for the purpose, and other members of the family have agreed to supplement the amount to the estimated cost. The City Council will undertake the installation, and a tender has already been received for the Work, which will be commenced as noon as the dock is ready. It is understood that the sum of money provided some years ago fay the Orphans' Club for the same purpose is now to be expended upon seam for city reservos.
