The John, which left Wellintgon yesterday afternoon for Picton and Wanganui, is due back at Wellington tomorrow morning, and is to sail in the evening for Lyttelton. The Maindy Lodge is to sail from Wellington this evening on the return trip to Newcastle. She will load coal again for New Zealand. The coastal steamer Hawero and Kapuni, during the past two days, have brought the' first of the new season's butter from Patea to Wellington. GALLIC SAILS TO-MODROW. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co. advise that the Gallic will now sail from Wellington at daybreak to-morrow for London via Monte Vied a and Tenerifie. MONTROSE LEFT MONTREAL. Cable advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the steamer Montrose left Montreal on August 29th with general cargo to discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. The vessel is due at Auckland about October 6th, and at Wellington a week later. PORT NAPIER TO DISCHARGE. The C. and D. Line advise that the Port Napier, cargo-laden from London, having completed discharge of her explosives in the powder grounds at Auckland, berthed at the latter port yesterday afternoon to put out general cargo. The vessel will sail from Auckland next Wednesday for Wellington, where she is due on the following Friday. TREMERE AT AUCKLAND. „ The steamer Tremere arrived at Auckland yetserday morning from Montreal and New York. The vessel will put out part cargo at the northern port, and will, sail on Tuesday for Wellington, where she is due next Thursday to discharge to the agency of the Federal Line.
