Mr Park Benjamin, father of Enrico Caruso’s widow, has cut off Mrs Caruso and four other daughters with a dollar each in his will, in which he bitterly assails bis children for their lack of filial spirit. He had opposed his daughter’s marriage to Caruso in 1918. Mr Benjamin leaves his complete estate, valued at half a million dollars, to an ndopted daughter, who at one time was governess to Mrs Caruso.
