RIFLE SHOOTING
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FORMED. A meeting of the New -Zealand* Rifle Club's executive was held to further consider the formation of the National Rifle Association of New Zealand. President H. Marshall was in the chair, the other members present being President Flaws (Petone), President Bertram and Deputy-Presidents Turner and Fellingham (Suburbs), Doputy-Proeidents Oroxton (Karori), Deputy-Presidents Pringle and Alexander (Old Navals). The replies received from other parts of New Zealand were strongly in favour of the formation of the now association. As a result, the National Riflo Association of Now Zealand is now declared formed, and Colonel Collins, as president, has been naked to call the executive together as soon as possible to draw up the programme for next year's New Zealand rifle championship. The executive is that proposed by the competitors at the last championship meeting, plus three lepresentatives of G.H.Q. It is confidently expected that the next championships meeting will be a great success.
