PREMIER ON ANTI-TREATY COUP. In the House of Commons Mr Lloyd ■George was asked by Colonel Wedgewood whether any advice had been given to Lord D'Abernon as to the attitude he should take up in the event of any rising in Germany of the nature of the Kapp. putsch. The Prime Minister said the hon. and gallant member might rest assured, that the British Ambassador at Berlin was in close touch with the Foreign Office on all matters of interest to the Government. If a reactionary movement hostile to tho treaty engagements of Germany happened to be successful, no doubt a serious international situation would ■ anise, and the Allied >:Po\vers could .not be indifferent to such an event.
