NEW ISLAND CONTRACT. By Telegraph.—Tr—s Assn.—Copyright. SYDNEY, July 4. A new island mail contract, arranged by the Commonwealth and Burns, Pliilp. and Co., provides for improved services in the Pacific. The run to the Now Hebrides lias been extended to embrace other parts of the group. There arc to be three-weeklv services to the Solomons, Papua, and Rabaul, and a five-weekly direct service to Rabau]. and also to tlie New Hebrides.
