Barr and his crew have signed off the articles of the echooner Coronation at Wellington. The Wavorley arrived back at Wellington at 4.10 p.m. yesterday from Patea. She will go up on the Wellington patent slip this morning to complete her overhaul.
The steamer John is ctiie at Wellington to-morrow night from southern ports, and will sail on Saturday for Picton or Wanganui. The Union Company advise that the Ngahere was loading coal at Greymouth yesterday for Wellington, where she is due to-morrow.
Captain A. R. Pryde is acting-master of the coastal steamer Cygnet, in place of Captain Murray, who is on holiday leave. The latter will rejoin his vessel at Igdtelton next weekThe rTM.S. Marama, which is laid, up at Wellington, was shifted from the Queen’s wharf to the Clyde quay wharf yesterday morning. The Holmdale, which left Wellington last night for W’anganui, is due 'back at Wellington on Saturday morning. Tne vessel is to sail on Saturday afternoon for Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton. Chas. McArthur and Co. advise that the steamer Joan Craig is to sail from Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day for Greymouth, taking general cargo. At Greymouth the vessel will load timber for Australia. The Karori, which sailed from Wellington yesterday afternoon for Greymouth, is to load at the latter port for Lyttelton. The Wanaka, due at Wellington to-day from southern ports, is to sail this evening for Auckland, taking general cargo. The Canterbury Company’s steamer Calm is due at Wellington to-day from Wanganui, and is to sail to-night for Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. The Ngaio is due at Wellington on Sunday from Nelson to go en the patent slip on Monday to complete her overhaul. The Komata, which left Wellington at noon yesterday for Westport, is due back at Wellington on Sunday with passengers and a load of coal. W. M.. Bannatyne and Co. advise that the Regulus is now expeoted at Wellington on Saturday morning from Picton. She will sgjd on Saturday afternoon for Nelson, —Westport and Greymouth. The Wootton, which left Wellington at 11.50 a.m.. yesterday for Lyttelton, is due back at Wellington on Saturday. She will sail on Monday on the return trip. The Canterbury -Company’s steamer Storm arrived at Wellington at 2.45 p.m. yesterday from Dunedin, Oamaru. Timaru and Lyttelton. Cable news has beeD received by the Union Company that the Waiotapu arrived at Opean Falls on Monday for loading. The vessel proceeds thence to Powell River and Union Bay and. Vancouver. She is to sail from Vancouver on Tuesday next and San v rancieco about July 9th for "New Zealand and Australian ports. THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER. The Canadian Highlander is due at Auckland on Saturday from Vancouver to put out part of her cargo from Pacific Coast ports. She will subsequently proceed to Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide to complete discharge. > WHAKATANE LEFT HOME. The Federal Line have been notified by cable that the steamer Whakatane left Liverpool on the 24th instant with general cargo to discharge ait Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Nelson. The vessel, which is coming direct, via Panama Canal, is due at Auckland on August 18th, and at Wellington about a week later. TASMANIA FOR HOME. The steamer Tasmania, which hag loaded under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company, arrived at Wellington at 11.30 a.m. yesterday from Gisborne, and berthed at the Glasgow wharf. The vessel is to sail from Wellington at noon to-day for Manchester and London, via Monte Video andi Las Palmas. THE SUFFOLK. The Federal liner Suffolk is due at Wellington at midday to-morrow from Bluff to complete loading. The vessel will sail from Wellington next Wednesday for New York and west coast ports of the United Kingdom. PORT KEMBLA AT BLUFF. The L and B. Lfue steamer Port Kcmbla berthed at Jlluff at 4 o’olock yesterday morning from Hobart, to commence Homeward loading. The vessel proceeds thenco to Lyttelton, Wanganui and Wellington, and will sail finally from Wellington on July 26th for London via Monte Video.
ARAWA ARRIVES TO-DAY. A wireless message received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company yesterday from their liner Arawa, en route from London and Southampton, via Panama, states that the vessel will arrive in the stream at Wellington at noon to*, day. After medical inspection, the vessel is to berth at the King's wharf about 4 o'clock this afternoon to disembark passengers and put out part cargo: &he will sail next Wednesday for Auckland to complete discharge and to load.
