OLD TURKISH BATHS
inquiries are frequently made as to the reason why the City Council does not remove the Old Turkish Baths in Manners street and so make way for the needed street improvements in that vicinity.
Tho Mayor (Mr R. A. Wright, M.P.), stated yesterday that the council desired to hasten the demolition of tho building, but one of the occupants was so ill at present that the council was compelled to postpone action.
