A PRESSING NEED
RESIDENTIAL COLLEGE. CHURCHES TO BE APPROACHED. - i What was" termed the need for Iv residential college in Wellington was mentioned at the annual meeting of the Victoria College Graduates’ Association last evening. It was said that this was one of the most pressing needs in Wellington. Mr G. G. Watson moved that the Victoria College Council should be written to again', drawing attention to the need Of a residential college, and urging that the establishment of such a College Bhould be proceeded with as soon as funds permitted. It was also "resolved that a. sub-com-mittee should be set up to consider the question of approaching the authorities of the Church of, England, Presbyterian Church, and Methodist Church with a view Of their setting up a residential college for men.
